If someone were to ask me what my all-time favorite action movie was, I’d definitely reply with John Wick. It’s like the movie is sculpted to perfection with its amazing casting, immersive storyline, and captivating action choreography.
You can stream the first three movies on Peacock TV and the fourth movie on the Roku Channel. Keep in mind that you’ll need a reliable internet connection to flawlessly stream all these movies for a marathon, so a reliable internet connection like Xfinity Internet will come in handy. I recommend Xfinity since you also get access to Peacock with your connection for free!

Every John Wick movie had something special about it that set it apart from the rest of the parts, so today, I thought I’d talk about what made every movie in this series unique in its way. If you haven’t watched the series, there are spoilers for some of the major events ahead. So, make sure you watch them before.
Let’s dive in!
John Wick
This was the part that started it all. There were a lot of unique points of the first John Wick part. What spoke to me the most about the movie was how it was about taking revenge for a puppy that was murdered.
I know it sounds a bit funny, but it all makes perfect sense once you watch the movie and understand why John did what he had to do.
I also remember watching the “home invasion” scene for the first time, and my jaw dropped at how much Keanu Reeves poured his soul into playing the character of John.
This entire scene shows how John is pulled back into the world of assassins, as he has retired and wants to live a normal life. However, a certain chain of events pulls him back into the world of assassins, and since he is the best-known one, he does not hold back.
Especially while he is attacked in his own home!
Another thing I absolutely loved about the movie was the “Red Circle” club scene in which John matches his gunfire according to the beats of the song playing so he can mask his shots with the sound. He also has the opportunity to kill the villain right then, but he lets him go, which is a very iconic moment in the movie.
John Wick: Chapter 2
John Wick 2 also had some pretty intense moments, such as John and Cassian’s Street fight. The best part is that no one else has any idea that two men are shooting at each other with silencers on their guns. The whole sequence is so exhilarating that it’s actually pretty intense to watch.
Other than that, I also felt like the catacomb’s shootout was a pretty interesting scene to watch, considering how dark the setting was and how hectic John’s face-off was against several people out to kill him.
Lastly, I also loved the part towards the end of the movie where John has a showdown in a room full of mirrors, which added a great aesthetic to the scene, along with the immaculate action sequences. It is the kind of scene that I can watch over and over again and not get bored with it.
Also, the fact that John is declared “excommunicado” at the end of the movie just adds more intensity and tension to the events.
At the end of the movie, John is on the run as he has no protection from the Continental now and has a bounty on his head, with every assassin attempting to kill him. The best part is that the third installment of the movie picks up right after the end of John Wick 2 when John is on the run.
John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum
In my opinion, John Wick 3 had the best starting sequence in the entire franchise. As I mentioned earlier, John Wick 3 picks up right after the events of the previous movie, while John has been declared “excommunicado” for “carrying out business on the Continental grounds”, meaning he can’t kill someone while he is on the premises.
With an army of assassins out to get him, John has to fight off several people before he can find a safe haven for himself and then make his way to the High Table. He eventually makes his way to an old associate, Sofia (Halle Berry), and seeks her help.
This paves the way to my next favorite scene, when both of them have to escape from Casablanca. They go there to track down the leader of the High Table, but things go sideways when one of the men shoots Sofia’s guard dog (who isn’t hurt since he’s wearing Kevlar, by the way), but this angers Sofia enough to start a shootout there.
An interesting gunfight takes place, and here we get to see the brilliance of both Keanu Reeves and Halle Berry.
John Wick: Chapter 4
The fourth part of the series was a very bittersweet end to the John Wick franchise. Honestly, I wouldn’t have minded if John Wick turned into the next Fast and Furious series with 11 movies, but all good things must come to an end.
John Wick 4 had the perfect ending to the series, and some moments really held a place in my heart.
For instance, I don’t think anyone can forget the staircase scene where John has the longest stumble anyone could ever anticipate. The other scene that really had me shook was the final duel. I won’t spoil it too much; you can watch the movie yourself to see what happens!
Watch all the John Wick movies, and I’m sure you’ll agree with everything that I mentioned above! If you’ve already seen them, I want to know your favorite moments from all four movies, so make sure to leave them in the comments below.
